Dr. Spencer is a 1976 graduate from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. He received his Diagnostics Education at the University of Wisconsin and Therapeutics Certification through Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.

In 1981 Dr. Spencer opened Optometry West, a premier eye care practice located in Muskegon, Michigan. He enjoys fitting new patients in contact lenses and is starting a research study on myopia control with contacts for kids age 9-14.

 Maria has been with Optometry West since 2000. She is a graduate of Alma College and Muskegon Catholic Central. She hand picks all our unique fashion frame styles from the best designers in the industry with our patients’ needs and interests in mind.

Elisa joined Optometry West in 2004. She is a graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central and attended Muskegon Community College. She loves to help style you in new frames to suit your face and image.
