Duette™
Hybrid Contact Lenses
Not just a new contact lens……a completely new kind of technology
Remember when you had only two choices in contact lenses? "Hard" (rigid gas permeable) lenses were best for crisp, clear vision, but were often irritating and uncomfortable. Soft lenses were the most comfortable, but often provided less-than-optimal vision.
Now, new breakthrough technology offers the preferred choice.
Hybrid Contact Lenses.
Lenses that make having to choose between vision and comfort a thing of the past.
Duette™ Hybrid Contact Lenses
The New way to see™
The Duette™ hybrid contact lens is the ideal choice if you want both clear vision and comfortable lenses.
Duette™ combines two types of contact lens materials - a rigid gas permeable center and a soft lens skirt - into one unique “hybrid” lens.
The rigid center corrects farsightedness, nearsightedness and astigmatism and delivers clear, high definition vision…even at night. And the soft skirt surrounding the center provides the all-day comfort of a soft lens.
SynergEyes® hybrid contact lenses offer the best of both worlds.
The soft skirt offers all day comfort while the "breathable" rigid center keeps eyes healthy while providing crisp, clear vision…even at night.
The Duette™ hybrid contact lens products feature a new SynergEyes-developed RGP material, MaxVu™ and a proprietary Flex2O™ silicone hydrogel skirt. “The high modulus MaxVu™ RGP has a Dk of 130 and class II UV blocker incorporated, while the high DK, low modulus silicone hydrogel skirt has a Dk of 84 and is 32% water.
A patent-pending surface treatment, HealthyEyes™, increases wettability and resists protein deposits to maximize comfort,” says Dr. Ramazan Benrashid, Vice President of Research and Development.
“Duette™ hybrid contact lenses represent a significant advancement in the contact lens industry and give eye care professionals an innovative product that delivers an unprecedented combination of visual acuity and comfort to a broad range of patients,” said Jim Ham, CEO for SynergEyes, Inc.
“Our next generation products will re-define state-of-the art in the vision correction industry.”
